Vayo Raimondo expresses the poetry of the authentic tangos with a dramatic new voice and style.  Inspired by the great vocalists of the past, Vayo explores the interaction of his voice with two distinct acoustic instruments of the genre, Mario Nuñez's guitar and Toto Damario's bandoneon.  Vayo's ensemble defines a musical direction that embodies the growth of the popular art form.  Their performance of classic themes captures the passion and elegance of tango.

His new album "I Am A Tango", is an extremely emotional celebration of tango.  The album, on Alula Records, will be released  in Worldwide in February 2002.
