Luke Walton says he talked to Lonzo Ball to let him know the team is behind him if he needs anything with yet another thing potentially for him to deal with after President Trump's tweet back to LaVar Ball concerning LiAngelo Ball. "He's got more on his plate than I can ever imagine anyone having especially at his age," the Lakers coach said. "It is our job to be here and let him know that we support him and believe in him. I don't know where it gets too much and how he reacts to it. I've made a point to talk to him and let him know whether or not he needs it that my belief and our team's belief in him is 100% there... To me it is all about the fact that we have three young college American students back at home. That is the most important thing. I am not really into the whole argument back and forth. I am just glad they are back home and able to be with their families and get an education."

Kuzma has Magic-type night

Kyle Kuzma entered his name into Lakers history with his 30-point, 10-rebound night vs. the Suns on Friday. He became the first rookie to score at least 30 while grabbing at least 10 boards this season, and the first Lakers rookie to do so since Magic Johnson had three such games in 1979-80. (Elias)
